It's tough at the top, or so says successful reality TV star and entrepreneur Bethenny Frankel.

Some say money changes people, but usually that sentiment refers to the people making the money. That's not so, according reality TV star and entrepreneur Bethenny Frankel. When she came into big bucks, it was everyone else who changed -- for the worse.
?The most difficult thing in my journey is the way that people have reacted to my making money,? the "Bethanny Ever After" star explained in an interview for ForbesWoman. ?Money brings out a really vicious side in other people."
It's something Frankel, who sold her SkinnyGirl Cocktails line for millions last year (though it's not clear just how many millions), found shocking.
"Fame isn?t the thing that changed the people around me, but money is," she said. "People look at you differently. People make up stories about you. People speculate about what you?ve had and what you?ve done and really try and tear you down. I had no idea that would be the case. And I think it?s really despicable, because it's not like I sat home and shook a money tree and that's how it went down."
