What's your SIP tea flavor? Milk Tea + Pearl Topping | Food Republic

I never realized that SIP Milk tea could taste oh so good until I had mine. Well, for starters, I did not know what to order specifically. They have this big screen of their menu with the I-don?t-know-how-many-flavors list of their beverages.

?What?s your order Ma?am??, the guy in the counter started to talk. I didn?t want to stress myself ?thinking of what flavor I?m going to go for so I asked him, ?What would you suggest??. He gladly told me of their bestseller but I later decided that I want to try their simple Milk Tea. I thought I was done with the Q&A portion but he followed up with, ?What?s your Milk Tea topping??. Okay, so I looked at their numerous toppings and was honestly clueless of what?s perfect for my Milk Tea thus, giving back the question for him to answer. He then suggested for the Sago (pearl) toppings. Lastly, I went for the ?natural sweetness? level because my palate isn?t fond of too much sugar.

So, here?s my Milk Tea with Sago toppings.

Just a fact:

SIP tea only uses?steeped?ultra premium tea leaves. They do not brew their teas because this will burn the leaves, making it bitter and dangerous to our health. To add to that, natural flavorings are mixed up in your milk tea instead of alcohol based flavorings and other unnatural powders. Why? Because it will just ruin your amazing drink!

Going back, my SIP?Milk Tea with Sago toppings arrived with a very simple yet tasteful entrance:

It?s really hot and humid outside so having this enough ice definitely cooled me down.

The Sago (pearl) toppings really did a great job in adding flavor to the drink. In all honesty, I?m not a fan of sago but this, I just kept on sipping and sipping via my big pink straw. :)

Did I mention that the Honeycomb Waffle was just the right snack while enjoying my Milk Tea with Sago toppings? I know you?ll say, ?It?s just like what I see and taste in the streets.?, when in fact, it?s totally different. It?s really nice, crispy outside and has a balanced sweetness that will not make you feel ?umay? (fed up) after having a bite or two. Try it and you?ll know what I mean. :)

Or, you can also opt for other things to nibble such as:

L-R: Chicken Chops, Fried Siomai, Veggie Spring Rolls, Shrimp Crackers

Oooops! Before I forget, here?s a simple step-by-step process in ordering your Sip tea. Just so you wouldn?t end up like a clueless customer like me. heheh :)

How to sip SIP:

  1. Pick a drink
  2. Choose a sweetness level (25, 50, 75, 100)
  3. Select toppings (you can only order 1 topping per drink)
  4. Enjoy! :)
